Tenable.sc (SecurityCenter) - Add IPs to Scan
Tenable.sc (SecurityCenter) - Add IPs to Scan adds IP addresses from Axonius assets to an existing scan in Tenable.sc (SecurityCenter) for:
- Assets returned by the selected query or assets selected on the relevant asset page.

Required Fields
These fields must be configured to run the Enforcement Action.
- Action name - The name of this Enforcement Action. The system sets a default name. You can change the name.
- Configure Dynamic Values (optional) - Toggle on to enter a Dynamic Value statement. See Creating Enforcement Action Dynamic Value Statements to learn more about Dynamic Value statement syntax.

Use stored credentials from the Tenable.sc (SecurityCenter) adapter - Select this option to use credentials from the adapter connection. By default, the first connection is selected.

When you select this option, the Select Adapter Connection drop-down becomes available. Select the adapter connection to use for this Enforcement Action.

To use this option, you must successfully configure a Tenable.sc (SecurityCenter) adapter connection.

Scan name - The name of an existing scan in Tenable.sc (SecurityCenter). The IP addresses of the selected assets are added to this scan.

Compute Node - The Axonius node to use when connecting to the specified host. For more details, see Working with Axonius Compute Nodes.
Additional Fields
These fields are optional.
Connection and CredentialsWhen Use stored credentials from the adapter is toggled off, some of the connection fields below are required to create the connection, while other fields are optional.
- Tenable.sc domain - The URL of the Tenable.sc management server. For example, https://tenable-sc.company.com.
- User Name and Password - The credentials for a user account that has the Required Permissions to perform this action.
Verify SSL (optional) - Select whether to verify the SSL certificate of the server against the CA database inside of Axonius. For more details, see SSL Trust & CA Settings.
HTTPS Proxy (optional) - Connect the adapter to a proxy instead of directly connecting it to the domain.
Gateway Name - Select the Gateway through which to connect to perform the action.
- Use public IP addresses - Include public IP addresses from Axonius assets when adding to the scan.
- Use private IP addresses - Include private IP addresses from Axonius assets when adding to the scan.
- Exclude IPv6 addresses - When enabled, excludes IPv6 addresses and only includes IPv4 addresses.
- CIDRs exclude list - A list of CIDR ranges to exclude from the IP addresses added to the scan.

Axonius uses the Tenable SecurityCenter API - PATCH /scan/{id}
Required Ports
Axonius must be able to communicate via the following ports:
- TCP port 443 (HTTPS)

The following permissions and requirements are needed:
- Permission to view and manage scans in Tenable.sc (SecurityCenter).
- The user account must have Manage access to the target scan.
Version Matrix
This Enforcement Action was tested only with the versions marked as supported, but may work with other versions. Please contact Axonius Support if you have a version that is not listed and it is not functioning as expected.
