Use Follow to keep the workers you care about in My Workforce and to see their runs first on the AI Workforce pages.

A worker is a Virtual Worker (a ready-made check in your AI Workforce) or a custom worker (a scheduled check that you create). The workers you follow appear in My Workforce. Only you see the workers you follow.

Required Permissions

To follow workers, your role needs the AI Agents > View and interact permission. Following a worker changes only your own view. It doesn't change how the worker runs for other users.

Following a Worker

  1. In the sidebar, hover over AI Workforce, and then select Workforce Hub.

  2. To follow a worker, hover over the worker's row and select the star beside the worker's name. The tooltip reads Follow.

The star stays filled on a worker you follow, and the worker appears in My Workforce. The same star appears on each row in My Workforce and on a custom worker's row and drawer.

If Axonius can't save the change, the message "Could not follow <worker name>. Try again." appears.

Unfollowing a Worker

To unfollow a worker, select the filled star beside the worker's name. The tooltip reads Unfollow.

In My Workforce, the message "<worker name> removed from My Workforce" appears. To keep following the worker, select Undo.

Viewing the Workers You Follow

In the sidebar, hover over AI Workforce, and then select My Workforce.

My Workforce lists the workers you follow, grouped by department. Each department heading counts the workers you follow in that department, for example, 2 of 9 workers followed.

When you follow no workers, My Workforce shows No followed workers yet. To add workers, select Find workers. The Workforce Hub opens.

If you never followed or unfollowed a worker, you start out following the workers that are enabled at that time. When you follow or unfollow a worker, the list becomes yours to manage.

Filtering Notifications by the Workers You Follow

The Followed and All tabs at the top of the Workers panel on the Notifications page set which runs the page lists:

  • Followed — Shows the runs of the workers you follow. Followed is the default view.
  • All — Shows every run of every worker, followed or not.

When the workers you follow have no notifications, the page shows "No notifications from the workers you follow yet." To see every run, select Show all notifications.

See Viewing AI Workforce Notifications.

Following a New Custom Worker

When you create a custom worker in the Add Custom Worker drawer, Follow this worker is enabled by default. To create the custom worker without following it, disable Follow this worker. See Creating a Custom Worker.

How Following Affects a Worker

  • The AI Workforce Homepage uses the workers you follow: your notifications, the workers overview, and the KPI tiles come from the workers in My Workforce.
  • A worker you follow doesn't pause its schedule when nobody acts on its runs. See Automatic Pause.

Example

You want to track the Coverage Check worker every day. In the Workforce Hub, you select the star beside Coverage Check. The worker appears in My Workforce under its department, its runs appear in the Followed view of the Notifications page, and its schedule doesn't pause itself.
