Cyera is a data security platform that provides comprehensive data protection and governance solutions.

Setting Up Cyera to Work with Axonius
How to Generate API Tokens from Cyera to integrate with Axonius
Prerequisites
- Cyera Admin role
- Active Cyera DSPM license
- Access to the partner integration page in the Cyera platform
Step 1: Navigate to Partner Integration
- In Cyera, go to Integrations in the left navigation menu.
- Locate the Axonius integration card.
- Click on the card to open its details page.
Step 2: Generate Token
- In the API Token Generator section, note the pre-filled Token Description.
- Select the Token Expiration duration from the dropdown menu:
- 1 day
- 7 days
- 30 days
- 90 days
- 365 days
- Click the Generate Token button.
Step 3: Save Credentials
Your Client ID and Client Secret will be displayed.
Important: These credentials are shown only once. Be sure to secure them before leaving the page.
- Option 1: Click the Copy icon next to each credential to copy them to your clipboard.
- Option 2: Click Download CSV to save both values into a secure local file.
Note: The initial data synchronization may take up to 24 hours to complete.
Connecting the Adapter in Axonius
Navigate to the Adapters page, search for Cyera, and click on the adapter tile. Click Add Connection.
To connect the adapter in Axonius, provide the following parameters:

Host Name or IP Address (required, default:
https://api.cyera.io) - The hostname or IP address of the Cyera server that Axonius can communicate with via the Required Ports. From the dropdown, choose the appropriate API server according to your location. -
Client ID and Client Secret (required) - Input the Client ID and Client Secret as generated above.

Verify SSL - Select whether to verify the SSL certificate of the server against the CA database inside of Axonius. For more details, see SSL Trust & CA Settings.

HTTPS Proxy (optional) - Connect the adapter to a proxy instead of directly connecting it to the domain.

HTTPS Proxy User Name (optional) - The user name to use when connecting to the value supplied in Host Name or IP Address via the value supplied in HTTPS Proxy.

HTTPS Proxy Password (optional) - The password to use when connecting to the server using the HTTPS Proxy.

Advanced Settings
Note
Advanced settings can either apply to all connections for this adapter, or to a specific connection. Refer to Advanced Configuration for Adapters.
- Fetch Devices from Devices Endpoint (default: true) - By default this adapter fetches devices from the Devices Endpoint. Toggle off to not fetch devices from the Devices Endpoint.
- Fetch Devices Last Seen in X Days (optional, default: 15) - Fetch devices last seen by the number of days specified.
- Fetch Databases from Databases Endpoint (default: true) - By default this adapter fetches databases from the Databases Endpoint. Toggle off to not fetch databases from the Databases Endpoint.
- Fetch Databases Last Seen in X Days (optional, default: 15) - Fetch databases last seen by the number of days specified.
- Fetch ObjectStorage from Object Storage Endpoint (default: true) - By default this adapter fetches object storage from the Object Storage Endpoint. Toggle off to not fetch object storage from the Object Storage Endpoint.
- Fetch Object Storages Last Seen in X Days (optional, default: 15) - Fetch object storages last seen by the number of days specified.

Axonius must be able to communicate with the value supplied in Host Name or IP Address via the following ports:
