Zabbix is an open source monitoring software tool for networks, servers, virtual machines and cloud services.

Parameters

  1. Zabbix Domain (required) – The hostname or IP address of the Zabbix server.
Note:

If you configured your Zabbix API to listen to HTTP only based port numbers instead of HTTPS/TLS port numbers such as 443, you will need to prefix the hostname with 'http://'
For example: http://[[Zabbix hostname / IP address]]:8080.

  1. Default Zabbix Url Path (required) - The URL path where 'api_jsonrpc.php' is located.
Note:

When the api_jsonrpc.php file is located below 'https://[hostname.domain]', specify '/' (without quotes) in this parameter.

  1. User Name and Password - The user name and password for a read-only user. For more details about creating users in Zabbix, see Zabbix documentation - Users and user groups.

  2. Verify SSL - Select whether to verify the SSL certificate of the server against the CA database inside of Axonius. For more details, see SSL Trust & CA Settings.

  3. HTTPS Proxy (optional) - Connect the adapter to a proxy instead of directly connecting it to the domain.

Advanced Settings

Note:

Advanced settings can either apply for all connections for this adapter, or you can set different advanced settings and/or different scheduling for a specific connection, refer to ​Advanced Configuration for Adapters.

  1. Fetch items (required, default: true) - Select this option to fetch items. Items are individual metrics on the host, for instance processor load average, incoming traffic on some network interfaces, memory usage, etc. refer to Items for more information.
  2. Determine Hostname From Items - Select this option to set hostnames from the relevant item in the item section that has a hostname. If there are none, then use the hostname from “host”.
  3. Determine Hostname From Inventory - Select this option to set hostnames from the relevant item in the inventory section that has a hostname. If there are none, then use the hostname from “host”.
  4. Custom Select items to fetch (comma separated) - Enter a comma separated list of additional items to fetch.
