Tenable Attack Surface Management (formerly Tenable.asm) continuously maps the internet and discovers connections to internet-facing assets.

Connecting the Adapter in Axonius
Required Parameters

Host Name or IP Address - The hostname or IP address of the Tenable.asm server that Axonius can communicate with via the Required Ports.

API Key - An API Key associated with a user account that has permissions to fetch assets.
Optional Parameters

Verify SSL - Select whether to verify the SSL certificate of the server against the CA database inside of Axonius. For more details, see SSL Trust & CA Settings.

HTTPS Proxy - Connect the adapter to a proxy instead of directly connecting it to the domain.

HTTPS Proxy User Name - The user name to use when connecting to the value supplied in Host Name or IP Address via the value supplied in HTTPS Proxy.

HTTPS Proxy Password - The password to use when connecting to the server using the HTTPS Proxy.

Advanced Settings

Advanced settings can either apply for all connections for this adapter, or you can set different advanced settings and/or different scheduling for a specific connection, refer to Advanced Configuration for Adapters.

List of tags to filter (optional) - Enter a list of tags to fetch.

Use "List of tags to filter" as exclude list - Enable this option to not fetch the tags provided under List of tags to filter.
Note
- When List of tags to filter is populated and Use "List of tags to filter" as exclude list is disabled, the adapter fetches only assets that have at least one of the tags specified in List of tags to filter.
- When List of tags to filter is populated and Use "List of tags to filter" as exclude list is enabled, the adapter fetches all assets EXCEPT for those that have any of the tags specified in List of tags to filter.

Include only assets with ports - Check to fetch only assets that have ports.

List of ports to include (equal to) - Provide a list of specific ports, only assets with these ports will be fetched.

List of record types to include (equal to) - Provide a list of specific record types, only assets with these record types will be fetched.

Use Original Hostname field as Hostname - Specify which hostname field should be used when fetching device data: enable this setting to use the
bd.original_hostnamefield. When disabled, the adapter uses the standardbd.hostnamefield by default,
