Delinea Platform - Delete User

Delinea Platform - Delete User deletes users from the Delinea Platform for:

  • Assets returned by the selected query or assets selected on the relevant asset page.

Note

This action permanently deletes cloud users from Delinea Platform. For users from other directory services (such as Active Directory), this action removes them from the cloud but does not delete them from the source directory service.

Required Fields

These fields must be configured to run the Enforcement Action.

  • Action name - The name of this Enforcement Action. The system sets a default name. You can change the name.
  • Configure Dynamic Values (optional) - Toggle on to enter a Dynamic Value statement. See Creating Enforcement Action Dynamic Value Statements to learn more about Dynamic Value statement syntax.

  • Use stored credentials from the Delinea Privileged Remote Access adapter - Select this option to use credentials from the adapter connection. By default, the first connection is selected.

    • When you select this option, the Select Adapter Connection drop-down becomes available. Select the adapter connection to use for this Enforcement Action.

  • Compute Node - The Axonius node to use when connecting to the specified host. For more details, see Working with Axonius Compute Nodes.

This Enforcement Action does not have additional optional fields.

  • Host Name or IP Address - Base domain for the Delinea Platform API (e.g., https://your-tenant.delinea.app).

  • Client ID - OAuth 2.0 Client ID for the Service User.

  • Client Secret - OAuth 2.0 Client Secret for the Service User.

APIs

Axonius uses the Delinea Platform Identity API - POST /identity/api/UserMgmt/RemoveUsers

Required Ports

Axonius must be able to communicate via the following ports:

  • TCP port 443

Required Permissions

The stored credentials, or those provided in Connection and Credentials, must have the following permission(s) to perform this Enforcement Action:

  • The service user must be a system administrator or have user management permissions in Delinea Platform.
  • The service user must have an OAuth 2.0 application configured with:
    • Client ID and Client Secret for authentication
    • Grant Type: client_credentials
    • Scope: xpmheadless (required for Platform API access)

Note: This action will fail if any of the user IDs specified are the current user (the service user running the action).

This Enforcement Action was tested only with the versions marked as supported, but may work with other versions. Please contact Axonius Support if you have a version that is not listed and it is not functioning as expected.
