This adapter fetches the following types of assets:

  • Devices

Parameters

  1. Host Name or IP Address (required) - Enter one or more comma-separated hostnames, IP addresses or CIDR blocks of the Dell iDRAC server.

  2. User Name and Password (required) - The credentials for a user account that has the permissions to fetch assets.

  3. Verify SSL - Select whether to verify the SSL certificate offered by the values supplied in Host Name or IP Address. For more details, see SSL Trust & CA Settings.

  4. HTTPS Proxy (optional) - A proxy to use when connecting to the values supplied in Host Name or IP Address.

  5. HTTPS Proxy User Name (optional) - The user name to use when connecting to the values supplied in Host Name or IP Address via the values supplied in HTTPS Proxy.

  6. HTTPS Proxy Password (optional) - The password to use when connecting to the values supplied in Host Name or IP Address via the values supplied in HTTPS Proxy.

Advanced Settings

Note:

Advanced settings can either apply for all connections for this adapter, or you can set different advanced settings and/or different scheduling for a specific connection, refer to ​Advanced Configuration for Adapters.

  1. Async chunks in parallel (required, default: 50) - Specify the number of asynchronous chunks that will run in parallel.
  2. Timeout for a new connection in seconds (optional, default: 30) - Specify a custom timeout in seconds for Dell iDRAC connections.
  3. Use SKU as device serial - Select this option to use SKU as a serial number.

Axonius uses the Redfish API for Integrated Dell Remote Access Controller (iDRAC).

Version Matrix

This adapter was only tested with the versions marked as supported, but may work with other versions. Contact Axonius Support if you have a version that is not listed, which is not functioning as expected.
