Asset Investigation checks which asset fields changed their values since the previous Fetch.
The Asset value changed event is triggered when Asset Investigation discovers that a value in an asset field, which you selected to track, changed since the last Asset Investigation.
A Workflow configured with this event as a trigger runs only on assets that have changed field values.
Note:
The Asset value changed event ignores initial values, meaning that when an asset field value changes from NULL to a value, it is not considered a value change.
To select the Asset value changed event
In the Event pane, select
The Asset value changed dialog opens.- The following is the screen of a triggering Asset value changed event.
- You select the asset type in which to compare adapter fields. This asset type is the one executed on the next Workflow nodes.
- There is no Add Timeout option.
- The following is the screen of a non-triggering Asset value changed event.
- The following is the screen of a triggering Asset value changed event.
Note:
The above screen is for a non-triggering Event. A triggering Event does not have an Add Timeout option.
- From the adapter dropdown, select an adapter, and then from the Select Axonius field dropdown, select a field. The dropdown includes all fields supported by Asset Investigation.
