The Axonius AI Agent - Early Availability
Use the Axonius AI Agent to ask questions about your environment, investigate results, and complete supported actions through a conversation in the Axonius platform.
The AI Agent is a multi-agent system. A supervisor receives your request and routes it to the specialist that can complete the task, such as querying assets, searching across Axonius, reading reports, or running enforcements.
What You Can Do
Use the AI Agent to work with your live Axonius data. The agent calculates counts, lists, and charts against your environment. The agent requests your approval before it saves changes or runs an action.
Query and Investigate Data
Ask questions in plain language to query assets, search across Axonius, and investigate results.
- "How many Windows servers are missing CrowdStrike?"
- "Show me devices that have not been seen in the last 30 days."
- "Find users with admin rights who have not logged in for 90 days."
- "Which devices have Log4j installed?"
See Asking Questions About Your Assets, Searching Across Axonius with Global Search, Working with Saved Queries, and Sorting and Ranking Results.
Create Queries, Charts, and Dashboards
Ask the AI Agent to build queries and create visualizations from your data.
- "Break down my devices by operating system type."
- "Show me a pivot of risk level by device class."
- "Create a Pivot Summary chart of devices missing EDR on my Security dashboard."
See Working with Query Wizard Artifacts and Creating Dashboards and Charts with the AI Agent.
Monitor Your Environment
Ask for health checks and information about adapters, discovery cycles, reports, and coverage.
- "Run my system health check."
- "Which adapters are failing and why?"
- "Analyze my last discovery cycle. What was slow?"
- "What reports do I have?"
See Checking Discovery Cycle Status and Reading Reports.
Automate and Take Action
Ask the AI Agent to create tickets, run enforcements, work with workflows, update cases, or schedule recurring tasks. The agent tells you when your role does not have the permissions required for an action.
- "Create an enforcement that tags devices missing SentinelOne every cycle."
- "Create a Jira ticket for the assets in my unmanaged devices query."
- "Run this enforcement on these five devices."
- "Schedule this query to run every Monday morning."
See Creating Tickets from Queries, Running Enforcement Actions, Reading, Creating, Testing, and Running Workflows, Updating Cases, and Scheduled Tasks.
Investigate Security, Identities, Software, SaaS, and Cloud Data
Ask questions across the asset types and data sources available in your environment.
- "Show me critical, exploitable findings on internet-exposed assets."
- "Which admins have not logged in for 60 days?"
- "Show me devices still running end-of-life software."
- "Find paid SaaS seats that nobody is using."
- "Give me a multi-cloud inventory by provider, account, and region."
Learn Axonius
Ask the AI Agent to explain concepts and guide you through tasks using your environment.
- "Teach me the Query Wizard step by step."
- "Walk me through building a dashboard chart."
- "What should I connect first when setting up my environment?"
Required Permissions
The AI Agent can access the data and perform the tasks available to your role and user account.
Your role must include the AI Agents permission. If the AI Agent icon is not visible in the navigation bar, contact your Axonius administrator to confirm that your role includes this permission.
Some actions, such as creating tickets, running enforcements, and updating cases, require additional permissions. The AI Agent tells you which permission is missing when it cannot complete a requested action.
Your administrator can set a per-user AI Agent usage quota. If you reach the quota, the AI Agent notifies you.
See Managing Roles, Configuring AI Agent Permissions, and Configuring Per-User Quotas.
