SteelCloud

SteelCloud is an automated compliance and configuration management tool designed to quickly implement and maintain security policies, such as STIGs and CIS benchmarks, for enterprise and government systems.

This adapter downloads zip files that contain JSON files.

Types of Assets Fetched

This adapter fetches the following types of assets:

• Devices, Aggregated Security Findings, SaaS Applications

The adapter parameters are the similar to the Custom Files adapter parameters, except for the **File contents" and File contains installed software information. These fields are not part of the adapter configuration, as the adapter provides devices data only, without any information on the installed software.

In addition the file type does not need to be defined since this adapter only ingests JSON files.

The following additional fields may be configured

Recursive - Recursively retrieve files from all subdirectories under the configured path. Only applies when "Get All Files from Path" is enabled for SMB Share storage.

• Include Scans From Last N Days - Only process scan files whose modification date is within the last N days. Leave blank to include all scans
• Minimum File Size (bytes) - Skip files smaller than this number of bytes. Leave blank to apply no lower bound.
• Maximum File Size (bytes) - Skip files larger than this number of bytes. Leave blank to apply no upper bound.
