Chat History | Managing Chats and Folders

Use chat and folder management to organize, rename, pin, move, and delete your Axonius AI Agent chats and folders.

Viewing Chat History

You can view a history of your chats with Axonius AI in both full-page mode and in the Axonius AI pane.

To view chat history:

• In full-page view, chat history is shown in the chat list.
• In the AI Agent pane, click Chat History.

Creating a Folder

To create a folder:

1. Click + next to Folders in the left panel.
2. Enter a name for the folder and press Enter.

Folders are sorted alphabetically.

Renaming a Folder

To rename a folder:

1. Hover over the folder in the left panel.
2. Click More (⋯).
3. Click Rename.
4. Enter the new name and press Enter.

Navigating Folders

• Click a folder to display the folder's contents in the chat window.
• Click the back arrow to return to the folder list.

Deleting a Folder

Deleting a folder does not delete the chats in the folder. Chats from the deleted folder are moved back to the Chats list.

To delete a folder:

1. Hover over the folder in the left panel.
2. Click More (⋯).
3. Click Delete.
4. In the confirmation dialog, click Delete.

Renaming a Chat

To rename a chat:

1. Hover over the chat in the left panel.
2. Click More (⋯).
3. Click Rename.
4. Enter the new name and press Enter.

Pinning a Chat

To keep a chat at the top of your list, pin it:

1. Hover over the chat in the left panel.
2. Click More (⋯).
3. Click Pin chat.

To unpin a chat, repeat the steps and click Unpin chat.

Moving a Chat to a Folder

To move a chat to a folder:

1. Hover over the chat in the left panel.
2. Click More (⋯).
3. Click Move to folder.
4. Select the folder from the list.

Deleting a Chat

You can delete a chat from full-page view or in the Chat History view of the AI Agent pane.

Warning: Deleted chats can't be recovered.

To delete a chat in full-page view:

1. Hover over the chat in the left panel.
2. Click More (⋯).
3. Click Delete.
4. In the confirmation dialog, click Delete.

To delete a chat in the Chat History view of the AI Agent pane:

1. Click the AI Agent icon in the Axonius top toolbar.
2. Click the view history icon.
3. Hover over the chat and click the trashcan icon.
4. In the confirmation dialog, click Delete.
