Exposures New Features and Enhancements

The following new features and enhancements were added to Exposures:

Exception Management - Triggering Runs Independently

The exception management update process is now independently triggered every 4 hours, and completely detached from the discovery cycle.

Chart Enhancements

Viewing Chart Configuration Details

All users can now view the configuration details of a chart. This includes charts on workspace Home page dashboards that are managed by Axonius as well as charts on read-only dashboards.

System Settings

The following updates were made to various System settings:

Adjusting the Number of Digits Displayed After the Decimal Point in Custom Float Fields

Users can now control how many digits are displayed for float custom fields across the Axonius system. This is useful for users who need more than 2 digits (the default) in their data consideration. Users can set between 1 and 9 digits to display after the decimal point. For example, if you set the number to 4, a field value such as 98.123432 will be displayed as 98.1234.

  • Abion - Abion is a cybersecurity platform that offers solutions for managing and securing digital assets. (Fetches: Domains & URLs, Organizational Units)
  • Binary Defense MDR - Binary Defense MDR is a managed detection and response service that provides continuous monitoring, threat detection, and incident response using integrated threat intelligence and expert analysis across IT environments. (Fetches: Devices)
  • ConnectWise Asio - ConnectWise Asio is a platform that offers remote monitoring and management solutions for IT service providers. (Fetches: Devices, Software, SaaS Applications)
  • Group-IB - Group-IB provides threat intelligence and vulnerability data from the OSI Vulnerability feed to enhance CVE analysis.
  • NetBeez - NetBeez is a network monitoring platform that provides active performance testing, traffic visibility, and diagnostics to identify availability, latency, and application delivery issues. (Fetches: Devices)
  • OutThink - OutThink is a human risk management platform that provides security awareness training, phishing simulations, and behavioral analytics to reduce human cyber risk through data-driven interventions. (Fetches: Users)
  • Threat Connect - ThreatConnect is a threat intelligence operations platform that provides ingestion, enrichment, automation, orchestration, and cyber risk quantification in a unified workflow.

Updated Adapters

  • Bitdefender GravityZone Business Security - This adapter now fetches containers. A new optional advanced setting allows users to parse machines with "container" in their operating system version as container assets instead of devices, providing better visibility and management of containerized environments.
  • Citrix ADC - Added the option to fetch server information.
  • ControlUp - Added the option to fetch compliance devices and vulnerabilities.
  • CyberArk Endpoint Privilege Manager - Added the option to fetch additional OS information data (such as OS build).
  • Databricks SQL - This adapter now supports import of assets via SQL statements.
  • Illumio Core - Added the option to fetch compatibility report data.
  • Microsoft Azure - Added the option to fetch installed software from Log Analytics.
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365
    • Changed the authentication method of the adapter: instead of using OAuth2 Authorization Code Flow, users can now authenticate with Client Credentials (Service Principal)
    • This adapter no longer fetches Users.
    • This adapter now fetches fixed asset data directly from the Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations OData API.
  • Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications - This adapter now supports separate authentication domains for environments where the OAuth identity provider (e.g., Oracle IDCS) is hosted on a different domain from the main service.
  • Qualys Cloud Platform - Added an option to define the number of hosts to fetch per batch to help manage rate limitation when fetching policy compliance data.
  • Rapid7 Nexpose and InsightVM - Added the option to fetch credential status via Reports API. When enabled, the adapter fetches the credential status for each asset from the Rapid7 Reporting Data Model using the Reports API.
  • Tenable.asm - Added the option to parse tags and added the option to exclude assets by tag.
  • Trend Micro Vision One - The Trend Micro Vision One adapter now includes advanced filtering options for vulnerability data collection. These new settings allow you to filter vulnerabilities by CVSS score, device criticality level, exploit activity level, and mitigation status, enabling you to focus on the most critical vulnerabilities and reduce data volume.
  • TRIMEDX - Added OAuth2 authorization server ID and authentication domain/server URL connection parameters.
  • Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) - Added an option to resolve AD Group IDs to names by querying the SCIM Groups endpoint.

Updated Enforcement Actions

  • Tanium Client Status - Create Action: Added the option to include hostnames from all Tanium adapters, so the enforcement action will use every hostname coming from a Tanium adapter in the queried asset.
