Axonius Release Notes 8.0.5

Release Date: December 7th, 2025

These Release Notes contain new features and enhancements added in version 8.0.5.

Exposures New Features and Enhancements

The following new features and enhancements were added to Exposures:

Exception Management

A new, centralized page dedicated to excepting (excluding) Vulnerability Instances from remediation efforts was added for Exposures users. Vulnerability Instances might be left unresolved when immediate remediation isn't feasible due to business, technical, or operational reasons.
Axonius Exception Management helps security teams balance the organization's security needs with real-world constraints while maintaining oversight, control, and operational integrity.
Using Exception Management, administrators can tailor the exception process to specific user attributes, such as which user roles can request exceptions and what the approval process should be. This empowers users to request exceptions, approve them, and track all exceptions in one place - without having to navigate between different tools and systems.

Axonius Platform New Features and Enhancements

Asset Pages

The following features were added to all asset pages:

Improved Asset Pages CSV Export Management

The CSV export workflow in the Asset pages was enhanced to provide a more transparent, fully managed experience. All exported CSV files are now accessible through a dedicated Exports page, where users can view the complete history of their asset CSV exports along with their status (In Progress, Completed, or Failed). From this page, users can also download available files or delete them as needed.
This enhancement gives users greater visibility and control over their exports, ensuring that 100% of initiated export actions—successful or failed—are tracked and available for review.
For convenience, generated CSV files are still automatically downloaded to the user’s browser to maintain an optimal workflow.

Case Sets and Enforcement Actions

For all enforcement actions and cases using actions that are of the type Create Ticket, it is now possible to split the ticket by asset fields and to choose the adapter field by which you want to split the ticket.

Adapter Pages and Adapter Interface

The following updates were made to the common functionality across all adapters:

Adapter Connections

The Adapters>Connections page now shows three new fields:

  • Date Created - the time and date the adapter connection was created.
  • Created by - The user who created the adapter connection.
  • Last Modified - The time and date the adapter connection was modified.

Date Created and Created by are only added for new connections. Last Modified is only added for modified connections.

Notes Update

On the Adapter 'Add Connection' drawer Add Note was renamed Notes. Notes can now be up to 250 characters instead of 50.

General Updates

Support for Queries in Global Search

Axonius Global Search engine now supports searching not only across assets, but also across queries. Upon entering free text into the search bar, users can navigate between results from assets and results from queries, and can also filter results from queries by asset type and/or tags. Clicking on a search result opens the relevant Assets page filtered by this query.

System Settings
