Chart Enhancements
Upgraded Capabilities for the Pivot Chart Table
The following capabilities were added to the Pivot chart Table visualization:
- Expand/collapse rows.
- Hide columns and rows where all the values are 0 (zero).
- Adjust column width.
- Configure multiple dimensions.
- Infinite scroll for large amounts of data without pagination.
- Export data to CSV.
- Click a chart cell to drill down when in the chart configuration window.
The chart is limited to 1 million segments.
New 100% Stacked Bar Visualisation for the Pivot and Matrix Data Charts
The percentage/normalized chart view shows how different constituent parts contribute to a whole, with the total size of the whole always normalized to 100%. Each individual bar in the chart represents a total category (the "whole"), and the segments stacked within that bar represent the different sub-categories (the "parts").
This helps to visually compare the relative magnitude of different categories or groups.
When a user views an existing stacked bar chart after updating to the latest version, existing charts will continue to display correctly. Existing stacked bar charts remain fully supported after the update.
