Veeam provides backup, disaster recovery and modern data protection software for virtual, physical and multi-cloud infrastructures. Integrate Veeam with the Axonius Cybersecurity Asset Management Platform.


Types of Assets Fetched

This adapter fetches the following types of assets:

  • Devices

Parameters

  1. Host Name or IP Address (required) - The hostname or IP address of the Veeam server.

  2. Port (required, default: 9398) - The port used for the connection.

  3. User Name and Password (required) - The credentials for a user account that has the permissions to fetch assets.

  4. Verify SSL - Select whether to verify the SSL certificate of the server against the CA database inside of Axonius. For more details, see SSL Trust & CA Settings.

  5. HTTPS Proxy (optional) - Connect the adapter to a proxy instead of directly connecting it to the domain.

  6. HTTPS Proxy User Name (optional) - The user name to use when connecting to the value supplied in Host Name or IP Address via the value supplied in HTTPS Proxy.

  7. HTTPS Proxy Password (optional) - The password to use when connecting to the server using the HTTPS Proxy.

  8. API Version (default API v1_6 Veeam Enterprise Manager) - Select the API Version, either API v1_6 (Veeam Enterprise Manager) or API v 1.0-rev1 ('Veeam Backup and Replication).

Advanced Settings

Note:

Advanced settings can either apply for all connections for this adapter, or you can set different advanced settings and/or different scheduling for a specific connection, refer to ​Advanced Configuration for Adapters.

  1. Fetch Managed Servers (optional) - Select whether to fetch managed servers.
  2. Fetch Backup Servers (optional) - Select whether to fetch backup servers.
  3. Fetch Job Devices (optional) - Select whether to fetch job devices.
  4. Fetch CDP Jobs (optional) - Select whether to fetch Customer Data Platform jobs.
  5. Fetch Statuses (optional) - Select whether to fetch backup statuses.
  6. Fetch Agent Jobs (optional) - Select this option to fetch information about physical infrastructure servers.

This adapter was only tested with the versions marked as supported, but may work with other versions. Contact Axonius Support if you have a version that is not listed, which is not functioning as expected.
