TeamDynamix - Create or Update Asset

The TeamDynamix - Create or Update Asset action creates and/or updates assets in TeamDynamix for each asset that matches the parameters of the selected query or assets selected in one of the asset tables.
- Not all asset categories are supported for all Enforcement Actions.

General Settings
- Action name - The name of this Enforcement Action. The system sets a default name. You can change the name.
- Configure Dynamic Values - Toggle on to enter a Dynamic Value statement. See Creating Enforcement Action Dynamic Value Statements to learn more about Dynamic Value statement syntax.
- Use stored credentials from the TeamDynamix adapter - Select this option to use the first connected TeamDynamix adapter credentials.
- When you select this option, the Select Adapter Connection drop-down is available, and you can choose which adapter connection to use for this Enforcement Action.
NOTETo use this option, you must successfully configure a TeamDynamix adapter connection.
Required Fields
These fields are required to run the Enforcement Action.
- APP ID - The ID of the application.
- Status ID - will be used only to create the asset - The ID of the status associated with the asset.
- Action Choice - Select the action to perform:
- Create and Update - Create new assets if they don't exist in TeamDynamix and update existing assets.
- Create - Create new assets only. Existing assets are not updated.
- Update - Update existing assets only. No new assets are created.
Compute Node - The Axonius node to use when connecting to the specified host. For more details, see Connecting Additional Axonius Nodes.
Additional Fields
These fields are optional.
Host Name or IP Address – The hostname of the TeamDynamix server. Required when there is more than one connection.
- User Name – Specify the User Name. Required when there is more than one connection.
- Password - Enter the password for a user account that has the permissions required to create assets.
- Verify SSL (optional) - Select whether to verify the SSL certificate of the server against the CA database inside of Axonius. For more details, see SSL Trust & CA Settings.
- HTTPS Proxy (optional) - Connect the adapter to a proxy instead of directly connecting it to the domain.
- HTTPS Proxy User Name (optional) - The user name to use when connecting to the server using the HTTPS Proxy.
- HTTPS Proxy Password (optional) - The password to use when connecting to the server using the HTTPS Proxy.
- Exclude connections - From the list, select the adapter connections to ignore. You can select more than one.
Map Axonius fields to adapter fields - Use the Field Mapping Wizard to map Axonius fields to fields in external systems. In this way you can transfer data found in Axonius into the external system as part of the configuration of relevant enforcement actions. The wizard shows you which fields exist on the Axonius system, allowing you to map them easily.

- Gateway Name - Select the Gateway through which to connect to perform the action.
APIs
Axonius uses the TeamDynamix Web API: Assets API.
Required Permissions
The account credentials supplied to access TeamDynamix must have the proper write permissions to create and/or update assets.
Version Matrix
This adapter has only been tested with the versions marked as supported, but may work with other versions. Please contact Axonius Support if you have a version that is not listed and it is not functioning as expected.
