You can import dashboards and queries into Axonius using the API, or by using the method described below.
Required Permissions
The user's role must have the following permissions to import or export dashboards.
- To export dashboards, roles must be unrestricted and have the following permissions:
- Export dashboard
- To import dashboards, roles must have the following permissions:
- Import Dashboard
- View Dashboards
- Add Dashboards
- Add charts
- Delete charts
- View entity - Must have this permission for all the entity types included in the imported dashboards.
- Add saved queries - Must have this permission for all the entity types included in the imported dashboards.
- Edit saved queries - Must have this permission for all the entity types included in the imported dashboards.
Importing Dashboards and Queries
To import dashboards and queries:
- After receiving the file with the Dashboards or Queries you'd like to import, download the file to your local system.
- Using an Axonius admin-level account, log in to Axonius.
- Refresh your browser.
- Navigate to https://<axonius_url>/administration (You will then see a menu that looks like the following image)
- Upload the dashboard or query file that was sent or downloaded by either dragging and dropping the file or clicking the button to navigate to the file.
- Click Run.
The imported Dashboards or Queries are now available.
