  • Auto-refresh rate (required, default: 60 seconds) - Dictates the GUI auto refresh rate in seconds. Auto refresh forces the GUI to update the presented data.
  • Default number of query results displayed per page (required, default: 20) - Dictates the default number of results displayed per page in the Devices page and the Users page.
  • When no column sort is applied, sort by count of adapters (required, default: True)
    • If enabled, when no sort is applied for the Device/Users table, the data will be sorted by the count of adapters correlating the device, meaning devices with more adapters are shown at the top of the table.
    • If disabled, when no sort is applied for the Device/Users table, the default sorting in those pages is based on the order the data was retrieved from the database.
  • Perform a query every keypress (required, default: True)
    • If enabled, the filter expression configured in the Query Wizard filters the devices or the users as you are writing the query.
    • If disabled, the filter expression configured in the Query Wizard filters the devices or the users only when you click Search.
  • Display Decimal accuracy for Pie charts (required, default: False) - Set this value to not round up the values for pie charts (display the exact value).
  • Use exact match for assets search (required, default: True)
    • If enabled, searching for assets will be faster, as when you use the search bar to find assets in the Devices/Users page or from the Dashboards page, Axonius runs the following search logic on the specified value:
      • 'Case sensitive exact match' search in any of the selected columns.
      • 'Case insensitive words within text' search (any of the words in a string) in the following columns:
        • Devices page: Host Name, Network Interfaces: MAC, Device Manufacturer Serial, Last Used Users.
        • Users page: User Name, Email.
    • If disabled, when you use the search bar to find assets in the Devices/Users page or from the Dashboards page, Axonius runs 'contains' search to find the specified value in any of the selected columns.
  • Require Connection Label on each adapter connection (required, default: False)
    • If enabled, the Connection Label field will be mandatory on each adapter connection.
    • If disabled, the Connection Label field will be optional on each adapter connection.
  • Number of values displayed in each column (required, default: 2) - Select whether Device and User multi-value fields display a single or two values. If such fields have more values than the selected option, those values can be viewed by hovering over the "+x" indication.
  • Export CSV delimiter to use for multi-value fields (optional, default: empty) - Specify a delimiter to separate between values within the same field of an exported CSV file.
    • If supplied, values within the same field will be separated by the specified delimiter once the CSV file has been generated.
    • If not supplied, values within the same field will be separated by "\n" (new line) once the CSV file has been generated.
  • Date format (required, default: YYYY-MM-DD) - Select the date format to be displayed in all Axonius pages. You can choose between:
    • YYYY-MM-DD (for example: 2020-12-31)

    • A session timeout modal that warns the user is displayed 1 minute before their session is about to timeout.

Cache Settings

image.png

  • Enable caching on recently used queries (required, default: switched off) - Select whether to cache recently used queries.
    • If switched on, each executed query will be cached for the time specified in the Cache Time-to-Live (TTL) in minutes field. This means that a query that was recently executed will not be executed again. The results for that query will be loaded from the previous query execution.
    • If switched off, apart from the last executed query, queries will not be cached, and the query results will not be retrieved from cache.
    • When Enable caching on recently used queries is switched on, the Perform a query every keypress settings checkbox will be disabled.
  • Cache Time-to-Live (TTL) in minutes (required, default: 60) - Configure the time for which the cache of each query will be kept. Once this time has passed, the query will be executed again and will not load previous results.
