Send Assets Data - Snowflake Data Warehouse pushes CSV files containing asset data into their Snowflake data lake for:

  • Assets that match the results of the selected saved query, and match the Enforcement Action Conditions, if defined or assets selected on the relevant asset page.

General Settings

  • Enforcement Set name (required) - The name of the Enforcement Set. A default value is added by Axonius. You can change the name according to your needs.
  • Add description - Click to add a description of the Enforcement Set. It is recommended to describe what the Enforcement Set does.
  • Run action on assets matching following query (required) - Select an asset category and a query. The Enforcement Action will be run on the assets that match the query parameters.
  • Action name (required) - The name of the Main action. A default value is added by Axonius. You can change the name according to your needs.
  • Configure Dynamic Values - Toggle on to enter a Dynamic Value statement. See Creating Enforcement Action Dynamic Value Statements to learn more about Dynamic Value statement syntax.

  • Use stored credentials from Snowflake Data Warehouse adapter - Select this option to use Snowflake Data Warehouse connected adapter credentials. To use this option, you must successfully configure a Snowflake Data Warehouse adapter connection.
    • When you select this option, the Select Adapter Connection dropdown is available, and you can choose which adapter connection to use for this Enforcement Action.

Required Fields

These fields must be configured to run the Enforcement Set.

  • Pipe Name - Case-sensitive fully-qualified name of a pipe that loads data from files as soon as they are available. For example, myDatabase.mySchema.myPipe.
  • Compute Node - The Axonius node to use when connecting to the specified host. For more details, see Connecting Additional Axonius Nodes.

These fields are optional.

Connection Parameters

When Use stored credentials from Snowflake Data Warehouse adapter is toggled Off, these fields are required:

  • Account Identifier - The Snowflake account within your organization. The preferred structure is: <organization_name>-<account_name>

    For more information, see Account Identifiers.

  • Warehouse - Enter the relevant data warehouse. Note that the value is case-sensitive.

  • Username - The credentials for a user account that has required permissions to fetch assets.

  • RSA Private Key - Upload the RSA Private Key associated with a user account that has permissions to fetch assets.

  • Key Passphrase - Enter the passphrase for an encrypted key.

  • Verify SSL - Select whether to verify the SSL certificate of the server against the CA database inside of Axonius. For more details, see SSL Trust & CA Settings.

  • Request ID - The ID of the request.

  • Gateway Name - Select the gateway through which to connect to perform the action.

  • Files - Click + for each CSV file with asset data that you want to push into the Snowflake data warehouse.

    • File Path - The path to the CSV file.
    • File Size - The size of the CSV file.
