In PagerDuty, go to User Profile > Account Settings > User Token.

Additional Fields

These fields are optional.

Connection and Credentials

When Use stored credentials from the adapter is toggled off, some of the connection fields below are required to create the connection, while other fields are optional.

  • Host Name or IP Address (required, default: api.pagerduty.com) - The hostname or IP address of the PagerDuty server that Axonius can communicate with via the Required Ports.

  • Token (required) - An API Key associated with a user account that has the Required Permissions to perform this action. The API token for this adapter is static and in power of the PagerDuty user

  • Verify SSL (optional) - Select whether to verify the SSL certificate of the server against the CA database inside of Axonius. For more details, see SSL Trust & CA Settings.

    • If disabled, Axonius will not include the default incident description (mentioned below) in the PagerDuty incident.
  • Allow fields with multiple values in the field mapping - When selected, allows parsing multiple Axonius values into one vendor field (many to one) while concatenating the values with a separator "|".
    For example:
    • If the field mapping is: "description: Host Name, description: Mail"
    • Then the output will be: "description: <Host Name> | <Mail>"
  • Map Axonius fields to adapter fields - Use the Field Mapping Wizard to map Axonius fields to fields in external systems. In this way you can transfer data found in Axonius into the external system as part of the configuration of relevant enforcement actions. The wizard shows you which fields exist on the Axonius system, allowing you to map them easily.

    Note:

APIs

Axonius uses the PagerDuty API.
