Append to Comment - OneLogin will append or replace the comment text in OneLogin the users in OneLogin for:
* Assets that match the results of the selected saved query, and match the Enforcement Action Conditions, if defined or assets selected on the relevant asset page.

This Enforcement Action can:

  • Append or replace the comment text
  • Add a custom attribute name or a comment and the comment itself
  • Append to an already existing custom comment

General Settings

  • Enforcement Set name (required) - The name of the Enforcement Set. A default value is added by Axonius. You can change the name according to your needs.
  • Add description - Click to add a description of the Enforcement Set. It is recommended to describe what the Enforcement Set does.
  • Run action on assets matching following query (required) - Select an asset category and a query. The Enforcement Action will be run on the assets that match the query parameters.
  • Action name (required) - The name of the Main action. A default value is added by Axonius. You can change the name according to your needs.
  • Configure Dynamic Values - Toggle on to enter a Dynamic Value statement. See Creating Enforcement Action Dynamic Value Statements to learn more about Dynamic Value statement syntax.

  • Use stored credentials from the OneLogin Adapter - Select this option to use OneLogin connected adapter credentials.
    • When you select this option, the Select Adapter Connection drop-down is available. Select the adapter connection to use for this Enforcement Action.

These fields must be configured to run the Enforcement Set.

These fields are optional.

Connection Parameters

If Use stored credentials from the OneLogin adapter is not enabled, these fields are required.

  • Host Name or IP Address -The hostname or IP address of the OneLogin server that Axonius can communicate with.
  • Client ID and Client Secret - The credentials for a user account that has the permissions to fetch assets.
  • SSO Provider - If your organization uses OneLogin for SSO, you can set this select this check box (selected by default). For more information, see Connecting your SSO Solution Provider.
  • Verify SSL - Select whether to verify the SSL certificate of the server against the CA database inside of Axonius. For more details, see SSL Trust & CA Settings.

  • HTTPS Proxy - Connect the adapter to a proxy instead of directly connecting it to the domain.

  • HTTPS Proxy User Name - The user name to use when connecting to the server using the  HTTPS Proxy.

  • HTTPS Proxy Password - The password to use when connecting to the server using the  HTTPS Proxy.

  • Add comment field (default: User has been modified by Axonius) - Enter the comment to add to the user.
  • Append the comment provided to the already existing comment - When selected, the text in Add comment field is appended to any existing text in the comment field.
  • Custom attribute name for comment - The name for a field for adding event data to the user record (for example, "User was locked out of their account").
  • Comment to put in the custom attribute (default: User has been modified by Axonius) - The text of the comment to add to the custom attribute.
  • Append value of the custom comment to the already existing comment - When selected, the text in Comment to put in the custom attribute is appended to any existing text in the custom attribute field.
  • Gateway Name - Select the gateway through which to connect to perform the action.

This Enforcement Action has only been tested with the versions marked as supported, but may work with other versions. Please contact Axonius Support if you have a version that is not listed and it is not functioning as expected.
