Viewing and Analyzing Enforcement Task Action Results

To view the results of each Enforcement Task action, click it. The right pane displays the action name, configuration summary and the number of entities for which the action has been succeeded or failed.


For example, The Main Action is performed successfully on 8 out of 10 entities.

  • Any configured Success Action is performed on all the 8 entities, for which the Main Action has been performed successfully.
  • Any configured Failure Action is performed on the 2 entities, for which the Main Action has been failed.
  • Any configured Post Action is performed on all 10 entities, the same entities were performed by the Main Action.


To view the results details, click the number of entities succeeded or failed.
The Devices screen or the Users screen opens, based on the performed entities type, displaying only the entities for which the action has been performed successfully or has been failed, based on your selected option.

The Query Filter bar shows the query used to display those results. Above it, there is a text describing the results in the following format:

Showing [successful/unsuccessful] results of action [action name] of enforcement [enforcement set name], Task [task instance ID]

For example: Showing successful results of action Tag 'Test' of enforcement Test Enforcement Set, Task 30

The displayed results can be used as a baseline for additional filtering. To remove the baseline and to display all query results, click Clear, above the Query Filter bar. To go back to the Enforcement Task Summary screen, click Go to Task, above the Query Filter bar.
