Connecting Axonius to AWS Resources

If you're using the AWS Organizations service to manage your AWS accounts, then it's possible to setup a single AWS adapter connection and use that connection to discover and connect to all AWS Organization member accounts. This is the recommended method of connection. Refer to Configuring the AWS Adapter Using Organizations.

Otherwise you can connect Axonius to your AWS resources by using one of the following methods:

• Create an IAM user, assemble the required credentials (Access key ID and Secret access key) and configure your accounts as necessary. This process is described in Connecting the AWS Adapter Using an IAM User.
• Create an EC2 instance attached role that has the required permissions.
